Welcoming back Dhara and Vivek, who traveled over 75 kilometers once again for Veera’s newborn session, was such a joy. I first met them during Dhara's maternity photoshoot, and having them return with their beautiful baby girl Veera was truly special. Despite the long drive, they trusted me to capture another important moment in their lives, and that means the world to me.
Veera’s session was magical. She slept peacefully throughout the entire shoot, making it easy to capture both wrapped and unwrapped shots. Her grandmother, Vivek’s mum, joined us for the session and was delighted to see little Veera all snug and calm.
Daddy’s Little Princess
There's nothing quite like the bond between a father and his newborn photos. In this precious moment, we captured baby Veera resting peacefully in her daddy's arms, showcasing the love and protection she already feels. Wrapped in a cozy, soft lavender swaddle, Veera slept soundly while her dad gazed at her with pure admiration. These father-daughter photos truly highlight the tender connection they share, creating memories that will be cherished forever.

Our session with Dhara and baby Veera beautifully showcases their bond, with soft lavender tones creating a serene, timeless setting. Wrapped in a delicate rose blanket and surrounded by floral accents, baby Veera slept peacefully, while Dhara's warm embrace radiated love. These precious moments between mum and baby will surely bring smiles and memories for years to come.
For this session, I wanted to create a visual harmony between Dhara’s maternity shoot and Veera’s newborn session. We matched the setup to complement the lavender gown Dhara wore, ensuring the album would have a seamless flow. Baby Veera was wrapped in a soft dusty rose blanket, wearing an adorable floral headband with light pink and cream flowers. The pink tones in the background added a delicate, cohesive feel to the photos, making them look like a dream.
We played with two background setups for Veera's portraits. In the first, she was placed against a pastel scene that felt like a whimsical fairy tale. In the second, we used a plush lavender backdrop, giving the image a more intimate and cozy feel. In both, Veera’s serene, sleeping face brought such calm and beauty to the photographs. The lavender wrap she wore complemented the floral details, creating a dreamy, cohesive look.
For a pop of color, we also captured her wrapped in a vibrant mustard-yellow swaddle. The bright tones, paired with yellow flowers and an earthy brown background, created a joyful, rustic vibe that added variety to the session. The mustard headband added the perfect touch of sweetness to the scene.
The entire session was not just about taking photos but enjoying great conversations and laughter. The bond between this family shines through in every image, and I feel honored to be a part of their journey.
