It’s always a joy to photograph returning clients and working with Saroj and Kiran has been nothing short of delightful! They’ve traveled over 40 kilometers from the other side of Melbourne not once, but twice — first for Saroj's maternity shoot and later for their newborn photoshoot. Their trust and dedication are truly heartwarming, and I’m thrilled to share a glimpse of our recent maternity session.
A Serene Blue: Elegance and Charm in the Outdoors
For the outdoor segment, I suggested a flowing blue gown that radiated elegance and charm. The gown’s soft, tiered layers, delicate off-shoulder design, and gentle ruffles were a perfect match for Saroj’s natural glow. She looked enchanting with a crown of flowers in her hair and a woven basket filled with colorful blooms. We captured her standing in tall, golden grass under the soft afternoon sun, creating a warm, dreamy atmosphere. The natural lighting and shallow depth of field added a magical quality, making each photo feel like a gentle moment frozen in time.
Regal Red: Grace and Celebration
Saroj’s second look featured a striking red gown that captured the essence of motherhood’s grace and celebration. The gown’s fitted silhouette her baby bump beautifully, while the pearl belt added a touch of luxury. Indoors, with a clean, minimalistic background, this look was enhanced by a woven rug adorned with delicate flowers, adding to the warmth and softness of the photo. The even lighting created a serene glow, bringing out the deep red of her dress and her graceful presence.
Bold in Black: Strength and Sophistication
The final gown was a statement in itself: a black, flowing layered gown with tulle fabric that exuded drama and sophistication. Its round-neck and sleeveless design, complemented by a pearl belt and a regal crown, created an aura of strength and confidence. The warm-toned floral backdrop highlighted the gown’s texture and the floral patterns, framing Saroj elegantly and adding a subtle vintage touch.
The Anticipation of New Life
We also captured some intimate moments between Saroj and Kiran, symbolizing their love and anticipation for their growing family. We used baby shoes in pink and blue, symbolizing the anticipation of their baby’s arrival and the excitement surrounding its mystery. With a shallow depth of field, the baby shoes became the focal point, subtly blurring their faces to emphasize the joy and expectation shared by this beautiful couple.
